Frequently Asked Questions

The Answers You Need

Have a question? We’ve compiled a list of some of the most popular questions, accompanied by our thorough answers. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, contact us.

What is a CSA?

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture,  Think of it as a subscription but instead when you join a CSA you own part of the crop.  You have probably heard of CSAs for vegetables but why not flowers?  That’s what we think!

Are all bouquets the same?

We take the time to make each arrangement in a vase unique.  For this reason, we let our CSA customers select the bouquet that matches their aesthetic.  While we will have plenty of assortments to choose from it is true that the early bird gets the worm!

Do you offer gift cards?

No but you can purchase a gift of six bouquets for a local friend.  Let us know while checking out if there are any specific instructions for us.

What are the payment options?

We accept PayPal and credit cards.  If you wish to pay by cash or check, please contact us and we will work together to get it done!

What happens if there is an evacuation?

As an owner of our bounty you will vicariously live the life of a farmer.  If Mother Nature moves in to destroy or limit a crop you too will feel it’s effects.  We will do everything in our power to fulfill your subscription from adjusting pick-up dates to working with other local farmers but a bountiful harvest is at the mercy of Mother Nature.

Can I change my pick up time?

Yes!  Just let us know the change and we will make the adjustment.  Just remember the bouquets are the freshest on Saturday mornings.

Can I swap weeks?

We will try to accommodate changes to subscription weeks but it will entirely depend on the availability of flowers for those weeks.  Again, please let us know if your plans change.

What if I am out of town for the week?

We can adjust your pick up time provided we have the flowers or you can simply ‘gift’ that week to a friend!

When is the best time to pick up flowers?

We want to deliver breathtaking and untamed arrangements that are fresh from the garden.  In order to do that we start picking our crops in the cool of Thursday morning and make bouquets on Friday nights.  We have found that this rhythm will give a vase life of about one and a half weeks.  As the week goes on the flowers will not be as fresh.  So pick up as close to Saturday as possible!

Do you do weddings and events?

We would love to create home grown bouquets for your special event or wedding.  One thing we do not do is full service events.  We offer a more economical approach of an a’la carte menu.  If you are interested in bridal flowers, please contact us and we can see if we would be a fit for your special day.

Do you supplement with imported flowers?

We do not.  We believe in supporting small sustainable agriculture and when we need to supplement we buy from our other local farmers.  This gives us a longer vase life and a gorgeous in season look.  We will make exceptions for a’la carte weddings and special events as needed.
