FAQs
The Answers You Need
Do all the flowers come from Moonlight Blooms Farm?
If we do not have what we need from our own blooms we work with several other local farms to collect the most beautiful assortment of fresh local in-season blooms.
Can I request a particular flower?
Yes, but we are farmers and use fresh local blooms. If your flower is not in season or something not grown in this climate, we will offer a substitution that will most likely blow your socks off.
What if I am having my wedding in a month when you don’t have flowers?
During some months, there are very few seasonal local flowers. We sometimes need to supplement our assortment from a wider geographical range but we try to avoid buying imported blooms.
What is your minimum order?
We have a wedding order minimum of $2,500. For orders of Buckets of Blooms we have a 2 bucket minimum.
How do I secure my date?
We require a $500 non-refundable retainer at the time of booking and the balance of the payment 1 month before your wedding.
How are some ways I can save on my budget?
One way is to pick up your order at the farm. This is a great option for couples who have a lot of friends and family offering to help out.
Another way to save money is to repurpose your flowers from the ceremony to the reception. For example, instead of ordering an arch and a sweetheart table consider ordering some meadows for the altar and then repurpose them for the sweetheart table. Or how about interspersing bridesmaids bouquets in vases with centerpieces?
What happens to the vases after the wedding?
Unless otherwise stated, centerpiece vessels are yours to keep. Feel free to repurpose them for ‘the day after’ brunch or send them home with Auntie Mae. We will let you know if we will need to have any other vessels returned.
